We will get to the missing key and details first, read below. This piece has no key, so the doors and drawers cannot be locked unless you have a new key made, also this means if the piece is not sitting flat on your floor the door can slightly or swing open, we used a tiny folded paper on bottom to hold them shut, also note the one key escutcheon shown in photo 7 on the right side (we spliced 2 pictures to show you) also note the small inlay missing, on the left side picture you will see the loss under the drawer from years of using the drawer. (please note we are detailing all the issues as best we can, as expected from age and use) This piece was made by Charak Furniture in Massachusetts and was probably done between 1940-60 if not older. The top drawer has the mark inside the drawer. It has a Mahogany top (which looks to have been refinsihed at some point) with the base having mahogany fluted legs, columns and stretchers with curly satinwood drawer and door faces (have the tiger stripes) with ebony inlay with each corner having an inlaid fan, with the side doors having a large detailed inlaid urn with what looks like a bird head rising, just gorgeous detail.Drawers are dovetail construction and the piece has original hardware / pulls. Please note there is sopme wear to the piece consistent with age and use, we have detailed the most notable below, the others are just normal wear dings from age and use. This is a wonderful piece with a great honey color, measures 43 3/4" wide by 34 3/4" high with a max front to back measurment of 18 5/8 If you need any more photos please let me know, thank you. This can be viewed in person in Palm Bay Florida, and feel free to ask any questions we will be here to help.
